Basiko SPF50+ Oil-Free

Basiko SPF50+ Oil-Free is a non-oily emulsion formulated with a combination of antioxidants, free-radical scavengers and sun-protective ingredients. A moisturising and photoprotective day cream, ideal for normal/combination and oily skin. Recommended in clinical cases where sun exposure is contraindicated, for sensitive skin or in conditions of intense sunlight. Recommended following chemical peels and laser treatments. Prevents the appearance of melasma.

Directions for use:

Apply to the skin of the face and neck 30 minutes before sun exposure. To maintain protection, reapply the product frequently, especially after sweating, swimming or drying yourself. Apply a generous amount of sunscreen to ensure adequate sun protection. Applying too little will significantly reduce the level of protection. Suitable for use under make-up.

Warnings. Avoid sunbathing during the middle of the day, between 12:00 and 16:00. Do not stay in the sun for long periods, even if you are using a sunscreen product. Excessive exposure to the sun is a serious health risk. Keep babies and children out of direct sunlight.

For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes. In case of accidental contact, rinse thoroughly with water. Keep out of reach of children.

Properties:

Polysaccharides. A multifunctional active ingredient with anti-ageing properties that stimulates epidermal cell renewal and promotes increased production of hyaluronic acid and types I and IV collagen in the dermis, helping to maintain firmness and providing an overall anti-ageing benefit. They have moisturising properties as they form a biomimetic molecular film on the skin’s surface, which reduces transepidermal water loss, thereby improving skin elasticity, strengthening the skin barrier function and increasing the skin’s resistance to external aggressors such as solar radiation, heat and environmental dehydration. They also have a soothing effect, reducing sensations of itching, stinging and tightness within a few minutes of application. Vitamin E. A biological filter that acts against free radicals. A powerful anti-free radical antioxidant that minimises their degenerative effects on the skin. Moisturising and epithelialising effects that improve the skin’s barrier function. Carnosine. A biomimetic peptide with anti-ageing properties. It stimulates collagen synthesis, thereby maintaining the firmness of the dermis. It acts as an antioxidant that protects and repairs damage caused by free radicals. It prevents glycation, which contributes to collagen degradation and premature ageing. It acts as a biological filter, reducing oxidative stress.

Excipients:

A light, non-greasy, oil-free, quickly absorbed O/W emulsion with a slightly beige tint.
