Sativa On-Xero Body Emulsion. Intensive relipidizing care indicated for dry, damaged or sensitive skin, xerosis.

Directions for use:

Apply to dry skin gently massaging until completely absorbed.

Active ingredients:

• Skin-Identical Lipid Concentrate.
• Olive oil.
• Shea Butter.
• Laureth-9.
• Panthenol.
• Alantoine. 
• Betaine. 

Properties:

Skin-Identical Lipid Concentrate.Multilamellar system that mimics the structure and function of the skin’s natural lipid barrier. The concentrate incorporates different types of ceramides, derived from cholesterol from a vegetable origin, free fatty acids and phytosphingosine, which, together, acquire a unique ability to restore the protective barrier function of the skin. The skin-identical lipid concentrate significantly increases the bioavailability of ceramides in the stratum corneum. The skin is hydrated and protected against external aggressions.

 Olive oil. Rich source of essential fatty acids (palmitic, stearic, oleic and linoleic) which contribute to restoring the skin’s natural moisture levels, providing great softness and lubrication. The main component of the oil, oleic acid, is a constituent of the cell membranes and skin. The Olive Oil, in addition to its excellent emollient properties, has a remarkable toning effect on the epidermis and protects the skin against external environmental factors, it hydrates it and maintains the entire structure of the dermis, allowing better regeneration and, therefore, greater firmness.

Shea Butter. Shea fruit extract which is characterized by its high unsaponifiable content. It protects and restructures the skin providing the amount of fatty acids needed by the lipid layer of the epidermis. The unsaponifiable fraction contains, among other phenols, tocopherol, which attributes it with antioxidant properties. Due to its physical characteristics, it allows a quick absorption and leaves the skin with a pleasant sensation of softness thanks to its strong emollient power.

Laureth-9. Agent which provides effective and lasting relief of itching sensations on dry skin, reactive skin and intense itching.

Panthenol. D-Panthenol is absorbed by the skin and transformed into the provitamin of the pantothenic acid (Vitamin B5), which plays a key role in cellular metabolism. The pantothenic acid, is part of the coenzyme A, which is important for the structure and the function of the tissue. It stimulates the epithelialization and has moisturizing and decongestant properties. It calms the signs from irritation and redness.

Alantoine. It produces a transient local increase in the number of leukocytes, this action mechanism causes a cellular proliferation and a rapid epithelization in zones of the skin which are superficially injured or subjected to great chafing or stress. It promotes the disappearance of irritative states of the skin.

Betaine. Amino acid of natural origin with hygroscopic and moisturizing properties. It reduces irritation and the loss of transepidermal water, providing the skin with smoothness and a feeling of well-being.

Excipients:

Rich texture O/W emulsion. Emulsifier with a base of natural lecithins, especially for sensitive skin.
Without parabens. Preserved with a mixture of glycols.
Perfume without allergens.
